Lives & forks

A Lunch Club for Modern Life

Lives & Forks was born from a simple truth I see every day in my work:
we’re more disconnected than ever — from our bodies, from food, and from one another.
And yet, food has always been one of the most powerful ways humans create connection, grounding, meaning, and joy.

This monthly lunch club is a gentle invitation to come back to that.

What is it?

Every month, members receive a simple, delicious lunch recipe built around a seasonal ingredient or theme. But Lives & Forks offers more than recipes. Each dish is a doorway into something deeper:

  • the sensory pleasure of eating

  • the positive anticipation that supports digestion and satisfaction

  • the nutritional story behind the ingredients

  • the history and traditions that make a dish meaningful

  • and the ways food influences our hormones, energy, mood, and nervous system

Then, once a month, we come together for a live lunch-time meet-up — not as students or patients, but as people. We eat, reflect, learn, share, and reconnect with what food truly is: nourishment not just for the body, but also for our minds, emotions, and lives.

Lives & Forks is a quiet rebellion against the pressure to eat perfectly, and an embrace of something more human, joyful, and whole. It’s a space for slowing down, eating well, and finding connection in a world that often feels anything but connected.

Pull up a chair. You’re invited.
